Kristen Bell's kids love a beer, a non-alcoholic one that is.
The award-winning actor featured on a recent showing of The Kelly Clarkson Show where she opened up on her family's drinking habits.

Kristen has been married to Dax Shepard since 2013 and the couple have two daughters together - Lincoln, 10, and Delta, 8.

As she explains on the NBC show, the pair sometimes enjoy a nonalcoholic beer.
Don't worry, there is definitely some context behind this.
The 43-year-old opened up on how her husband Dax is a recovering alcoholic and enjoys the occasional non-alcoholic beer.
“He’s a recovering addict, but he likes nonalcoholic beer, so he’d pop one open, he’d have [our oldest daughter] on his chest, and we’d walk and look at the sunset,” Kristen explained.

“As a baby, she was pawing at it, and sometimes she’d suck on the rim of it. So, I think it feels to her like something special, something daddy, something family.”
And now, rather awkwardly, her eldest Lincoln will ask for a non-alcoholic bevvy when they are out.
“We’ve been at restaurants where she’s said, ‘Do you have any nonalcoholic beer?’ and I’m like … maybe we just keep that for home time,” Bell said.

“But then I’m also sort of like, ‘You can judge me if you want, I’m not doing anything wrong. Like that’s your problem.'”
Back in 2020, the actor recounted a similar story on the Say Yes! With Carla Hall podcast.
“I’m going to get a lot of flak for this. And let me start by saying I don’t care. I’m a great parent, I think. I’m learning every day,” she said.
“It’s a sentimental thing for my girls, right? It makes them feel close to their dad.”
Well, earlier this month, Bell provided us with a picture for the ages after sharing snaps from her star-studded dinner party boasting some of the most famous names in Hollywood.

Among the many attendees seen in the photo, which Bell uploaded to Instagram on Friday (7 July), included Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.
Right behind Aniston sits Jason Bateman, who was perched a few seats down from Severance star, Adam Scott.
Other guests included the likes of Bell’s husband, Dax Shepard, stand-up comedian John Mulaney and The Newsroom's Olivia Munn.
It doesn't stop there.

CNN's Jake Tapper and UnREAL star Shiri Appleby can also be seen in the snap, alongside YouTuber Mark Rober as well as actor and writer, Tim Curcio.
One Instagram user commented on Bell's post: "Holy crap that's a table of legends."
"Coming in on that dinner table was one gasp after another," penned a second.
A third echoed: "Going seat by seat at that dinner was just the gift that kept on giving lol."
