Alison Hammond has sent a very clear message to anyone judging her relationship with her younger boyfriend, and she isn't holding back.
The much-loved This Morning presenter, 51, has hit back at trolls who continue to comment on the 22-year age gap between her and partner David Putman, 29, insisting people should spend less time worrying about her love life and more time focusing on their own.
Speaking to Attitude magazine, this week, Hammond was asked what she would say to those who criticise her romance with the model, whom she's been dating since 2023.
"Mind your business!" she jibed, going on to question why anyone would have a problem with two consenting adults being happy together.

"No, genuinely, I think people spend far too much time worrying about other people’s relationships. If two consenting adults are happy, loved, respected and making each other laugh, what exactly is the problem?" Hammond asked.

And the Great British Bake Off host wasn't finished there.
The mother-of-one also went on to take aim at the double standards women face when dating younger partners.
Addressing the term 'cougar', which is often used to describe older women in relationships with younger men, she joked: "Darling, I'm not a cougar. I'm a whole safari!"
Getting serious, Hammond added: "A man dates a younger woman and everyone goes, ‘Good for him’.
"A woman dates a younger man and suddenly she's been given a wildlife classification. Let women enjoy themselves!"
Elsewhere, she discussed what each party brings to the table.
"I bring the life experience and he brings the youth," she claimed. "It’s basically a human multi-generational home!"

It's certainly not the first time Hammond has opened up about her romance with Putman.
Earlier this month, The Sun reported on the presenter's comments about their relationship, with the star revealing that laughter is one of the biggest reasons they work so well together.
"Life is too short to be in a relationship where you can't laugh together," she told the publication.
Admitting that their differences are part of the appeal, Hammond added: “I bring the life experience and he brings the youth. It's basically a human multi-generational home!"
The Birmingham-born star also made it clear that she's no longer interested in living her life according to other people's expectations.
"I've learned that you can't live your life according to everybody else's opinions because you'll end up exhausted and miserable," she went on to urge. "Love who you love."
