After candidly addressing about the impact that appearance-based trolling has had on his confidence, Barry Keoghan went under the knife for a cosmetic treatment that cost up to £4,500.
The Saltburn actor, 34, recently gave fans a glimpse into his skincare routine after celebrity facialist Nilam Holmes shared a video of him receiving XERF.
This describes a non-invasive skin-tightening treatment designed to firm and lift the face without surgery or injections.
In the viral Instagram video, Keoghan can be seen lying on a treatment bed as Nilam moves a handheld device across his cheeks, nose and jawline.

Speaking about the experience, the Irish actor said in the clip: "I've been hearing a lot about it, and Nilam is very excited about it, and she's great at what she does. I really mean that, and again, every time I come in, it's very relaxing and therapeutic."
Keoghan continued: "I feel better about myself, I look better. I think it's important to look after yourself inside and outside."
According to Nilam, who founded UK-based clinic Dermaspa, the actor has been working with her for several years to look after his skin throughout different films, campaigns and projects.
Sharing the footage, she wrote: "I've been working with Barry for a while now, looking after his skin through different movies, campaigns and projects and the trust he places in me means a lot."
Nilam continued: "His skin has really improved over the last few years, and he looks great."
The medic also revealed that the footage showed Keoghan undergoing his second XERF treatment.
The procedure uses radiofrequency energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin, encouraging collagen production to help improve firmness and create a tighter appearance.
Unlike injectable cosmetic treatments, XERF does not involve needles or injections.
According to reports, a single full-face session at Nilam's clinic costs £2,500, while a course of two treatments costs £4,500. However, it has not been confirmed whether Keoghan paid for his sessions.

The treatment has also caught the attention of other famous faces, including Kim Kardashian, who previously described XERF as her 'new fave tightening laser'. Actress Naomi Watts has also shared her experience of undergoing the procedure.
Keoghan decision to share his skincare routine comes months after he opened up about the cruel comments he has received online about his looks.
During a March appearance on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up, the actor admitted that the criticism had affected his willingness to be seen in public.
"There's a lot of hate online. It's a lot of abuse of how I look," he said.
He continued: "It's made me shy away, it's made me really go inside myself and not want to attend places, not want to go outside."
The actor also explained that the negativity had begun to affect his relationship with his work, adding that when the criticism starts 'leaking' into his art, it becomes difficult to want to remain on screen.
Keoghan has also expressed concern about the possibility of his young son, Brando, encountering hurtful comments about his father as he grows older.

"It’s also disappointing that my little boy has to read all of this stuff when he gets older."
While he acknowledged that he has an incredible fanbase and receives plenty of kindness from supporters, he admitted that the negative side of being in the public eye has been difficult to navigate.
The actor - who shares Brando with his former partner Alyson Sandro - has previously spoken about feeling uncomfortable with the attention surrounding his appearance.
In a 2024 interview with GQ, he reflected on how perceptions of him had changed following his rise to fame, saying: "It's nice not just being looked at as the weird-looking guy."
He also added: "My prettiness didn't get me this far."
