Kim Kardashian has shared a behind-the-scenes glance into the unseen preparation that goes into her dramatic red carpet appearances.
The 46-year-old Skims founder took to Instagram on Thursday (29 October) to share the cosmetic procedure she has done ahead of the All’s Fair season two screening in Rome.
In the video, Kim revealed that ‘before the glam,’ there’s XERF - a non-invasive skin-tightening treatment that’s designed to firm and lift the face without surgery or injections.
As outlined by Dr Medi Spa, it ‘combines next-generation radiofrequency technology to improve skin firmness, facial definition and overall skin quality’.

Originating in South Korea, XERF was developed to address the gradual loss of firmness, elasticity and facial contour - and it’s becoming more and more popular among celebrities.
Kim’s admission comes just after Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan revealed he got the treatment done, appearing in a social media video posted by celebrity facialist Nilam Holmes.
The Irish actor said: "I've been hearing a lot about it, and Nilam is very excited about it, and she's great at what she does. I really mean that, and again, every time I come in, it's very relaxing and therapeutic."
He added: "I feel better about myself; I look better. I think it's important to look after yourself inside and outside."
According to reports, a single full-face session at the expert's clinic costs a whopping £2,500, while a course of two treatments would set you back £4,500. However, it has not been confirmed whether Keoghan paid for his sessions.
Meanwhile, sharing her experience, Kim spoke to the camera as the aesthetician moved the device across her face.
She explained: “I leave tonight for Rome, and I wanna feel snatched, so I’m here at 7Q Spa, and I’m gonna do this XERF treatment, which has proven to me to be my favourite skin tightening ever.”
Listing off what she likes about it, the reality TV star continued: “What I love about this treatment is there’s no needles so it’s just completely tolerable.”
Kim also took the opportunity to shut down the swirling rumours that she’s had a facelift, and instead attributed it to XERF and, hilariously, her hairstylist Chris Appleton pulling her hair back tightly.

She said: “I don’t know if he’s a plastic surgeon or if he’s just a commentator, but he’s on TikTok, and he’s like, ‘All the things celebrities have done, this is the work of lasers, good injectables, and a facelift,’ about my face.
“And I was like, ‘No, that is a Chris Appleton facelift, which is like the snatch where he pulls your hair so tight that it pulls your face back.”
She added: “I don’t know if I should be offended or it be the biggest compliment of my life that that guy always says I’ve had a facelift.
“And you know what’s crazy? He says that’s the scar, but if you pull my ear up, there’s no line. It’s so funny. The guy thinks it’s a scar, but it’s just a wrinkle.”
Kim then admitted: “I mean, of course I’ve met with Steven Lavine, to be like, ‘When is the year I’m gonna need this?’ And he was like, ‘Oh, you’re perfect.’ You have that wrinkle; that’s the perfect place for a scar.”
After the treatment, before Kim got ready in her iconic leopard print look, she declared: “Okay, so we just finished doing our treatment, and I don’t know about you, but I think I look pretty snatched. See you in Rome.”
