You can watch the trailer below.
Here’s everything you need to know about the series…
You Don’t Know Me drops on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday 5th December at 9pm. The series comprises of four episodes and will air weekly at the same time.
The drama series is led by Samuel Adewunmi, who recently starred in Angela Black as the mysterious hitman. He plays Hero, the man who finds himself accused of murder and is fighting for his freedom in court.
Sophie Wilde also stars as the mysterious Kyra, with Bukky Bakray, Roger Jean Nsengiyumva and Tuwaine Barrett completing the cast.
The plot is still under tight wraps, but it follows Londoner Hero, who is accused of murdering a young boy.
There’s overwhelming physical evidence that links Hero to the crime, with blood found under his fingernails and firearm residue on his skin.
But Hero is convinced of his innocence – to the extent that he sacks his barrister and decides to take the risky move of defending himself in court.
He believes that Kyra, who he met two years ago, is somehow connected to the murder he finds himself accused of.
The pair were in a brief but intense relationship before she suddenly vanishes, leaving Hero desperately searching for her.
“Everything leads back to her,” he says.
However, there’s more to this case that meets the eye.
Looks like we’re going to be hooked on this one, guys…
