Hudson Williams’ girlfriend calls out Heated Rivalry fans for crossing 'uncomfortable' line
Hudson Williams’ girlfriend has pleaded with Heated Rivalry fans to respect her boundaries after viewers allegedly turned up at her place of work.
Katelyn Larson is a successful tattoo artist, based in Vancouver.
She shared a post on Instagram asking fans of the smash-hit hockey drama to respect her personal life and privacy after some shocking behaviour.
Larson revealed that several supporters of the show had made appointments because of her connection to the show, and has now urged them to stop.

“Obviously a lot of you have found the studio because of a certain show and that’s more than OK,” Larson wrote.
She then made sure to distinguish between people who had discovered her work through the series and those who are making appointments specifically because of her relationship with Williams.
“This is where I draw a very hard line: booking an appointment with me or anyone else purely because of the connection to the show crosses a huge territory,” she continued.
Larson went on to describe some of the alleged interactions as uncomfortable for staff at the studio.
“Showing up to your appointment and asking my coworkers any sort of questions about myself or about Hudson is hugely uncomfortable for everyone,” she wrote.
She finished by asking people who were attending solely because of Williams or Heated Rivalry to ‘please stop’.
Larson also stressed that she was not asking genuine customers to stay away, and added that people who started following her because they genuinely liked their work were welcome to book tattoos.
“Please go right ahead,” she wrote, adding that customers should not ‘ever feel weird about that’.
The popularity of Heated Rivalry continues to bring intense attention to its cast.
Williams stars as professional ice hockey player Shane Hollander, alongside Connor Storrie, who plays his on-screen rival and secret love interest, Ilya Rozanov.
The series, based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels, became a major talking point among viewers following its first season.
The chemistry between Williams and Storrie’s characters has generated a sizeable online fandom, with viewers particularly invested in the fictional relationship between Shane and Ilya.
That enthusiasm has also resulted in considerable interest in the actors’ lives away from the series.
Williams and Larson have been in a relationship for several years, with their romance predating his breakout role.
While Williams has become increasingly recognisable following the success of the series, Larson has continued to work as a tattoo artist and maintains a lower public profile.
Williams has previously spoken publicly about the difficulties that can come with sudden recognition.
In a January 2026 interview with Glamour, he said his privacy now ‘inherently’ meant something different and that he related to his character Shane’s experience of seeing people comment on his life from the outside.
He also said he had not experienced anything ‘too crazy’ from fans at that point, but said people should respect boundaries around filming strangers.
When he appeared on the Shut Up Evan podcast, Williams said he is living ‘a different existence now’ and acknowledged that dealing with paparazzi and people approaching him constantly was difficult.
“It’s not easy having paparazzi; people constantly go sign this, do this, do this.”
He added: “It’s a very fortunate position so I am trying to slap myself whenever I go to complain but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s really difficult.”
E! News also said the star found his newfound fame ‘a little overwhelming’.
He also said his lack of privacy now ‘feels weird’ and, like Larson, he felt he had to ‘draw the line at points’.
