Meghan Markle’s former agent has bluntly commented on her career after parting ways with her professionally last year.
American businessman Ari Emanuel, 65, is the executive chairman of both the entertainment and media agency WME Group and TKO Group Holdings, which owns the UFC and WWE.
Throughout his career, the media mogul has represented a number of huge-name stars, such as Mark Wahlberg, Ben Affleck, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez.
However, as we say, there’s one client that’s disappeared from his roster, as he confirmed that he parted ways with the Duchess of Sussex, 45, last year in a new interview published in The Times.

When asked where he thinks Meghan’s career is heading, he simply responded: “Here’s the great thing: I don’t have to think about that anymore.”
WME later confirmed with PEOPLE Magazine, though, that despite Emanuel’s comments, the agency continues to represent Meghan and Archewell.
The talent agency opted not to provide any more clarification on the comments or circumstances surrounding the end of his work with Meghan.

It comes after it was rumoured that the Duchess could be returning to the world of film and TV, with theories swirling that this could be the reason she and her husband, Prince Harry, moved back to the UK last month with their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.
PEOPLE reported last month that she was in talks for a role in the third series of Guy Ritchie’s Netflix show, The Gentlemen; however, this has not been confirmed.
A source told the publication that the royal had been thinking about a return to acting for some time, even before the reported opportunity emerged.
Those who were fans of Meghan before she became the Duchess of Sussex will know that she rose to fame in the US legal drama Suits from 2011 to 2018, starring as Rachel Zane.
During her career, she also made appearances on shows such as CSI: Miami and 90210, and in films including Get Him to the Greek and Remember Me.
Professor Jonathan Shalit, a leading talent manager and chairman of InterTalent Rights Group, previously told the Press Association that the actress would have no issue with going back to the world of entertainment.

He told the outlet: “If she wants to return to acting, I have absolutely no doubt there would be interest in her.
“Suits has had an extraordinary life beyond its original run. It continues to be discovered and rediscovered through streaming and repeats, so there is already an audience who know Meghan as an actress rather than simply as the Duchess of Sussex.
“Had she not married Harry, I think it is perfectly reasonable to assume that Suits would have been a very strong platform from which to pursue other major television and film roles.”
The expert added: “If Meghan decided tomorrow that she seriously wanted to act again, directors and producers would absolutely want to meet her and audition her.
“Would she automatically be handed every role she wanted? Of course not. Nobody is. But would doors open? Absolutely.”
He concluded: “The question isn’t really whether Hollywood or the British television industry would have Meghan back. The question is whether Meghan wants to act again. If she does, I would be very surprised if we didn’t see her back on screen.”
Tyla has contacted a representative for Meghan for comment.
