You Can Now Go On A 'Harry Potter' Themed Spa Day

Harry Potter fans in need of a bit of R&R can combine the worlds of wellness and wizarding at The Wand & Willow Day Spa in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Owner Wendy Piedad, a qualified massage therapist and aesthetician, has created spa packages inspired by her love of magic, drawing on fantastical stories and films like Harry Potter, Bewitched and Practical Magic.

There's no direct link between Wand & Willow and JK Rowling's Harry Potter franchise, but the spa is kitted out with all the appropriate Potter-themed décor.

Spa packages named Marauder, Philosopher, and Phoenix take place in a setting decked out with owl details, a 'Fat Lady' replica portrait, dinky potion bottles and tapestries that are straight out of Hogwarts.

Did we mention that there's a copper cauldron and floating candled for added ambience?

Take the Phoenix Spa Package, for instance. This three-hour head-to-toe experience is described as "truly revitalising" and consists of a 60-minute body wrap, 60-minute massage and 60-minute facial.

Afterwards, spa goers can enjoy a warming HP-inspired 'Butter Brew' coffee by Harry Potter themed coffee, tea and gifts company, 9 ¾ Tea & Co. And if you're not a coffee drinker, don't worry, there's a range of HP-appropriate teas in stock too.

There are plenty of traditional treatments on the menu too, of course, from brow tinting to lash lifts and body wraps.

In an interview with Business Insider, Piedad said: "Visitors to the spa are enchanted when they enter and love seeing all of the subtle magical-themed decor.

"It is both elegant yet whimsical. I enjoy seeing them glancing around the treatment rooms looking at the magical creatures, floating candles, potions bottles, and cauldrons.

"I actually have quite a few guests who have never visited a spa before because they have never found one that seemed to call to them until they discovered Wand & Willow.

"It's a dream come true for me to be able to combine the things that I am passionate about and to be able to bring a bit of magic into the realm of relaxation and healing."
