Aldi Launches Pigs In Blanket Footlong Sandwich

What screams Christmas more than pigs in blankets? And if you're looking for a new way to get your fill of festive food then Aldi have come to your rescue.

The savvy supermarket has created a footlong pigs in blanket sandwich to truly tickle your tastebuds this Christmas. It's described as a "meaty, footlong British pig in blanket" which is slathered in layers of fried onion mayonnaise and sweet cranberry chutney, between a soft footlong brioche roll.

Yummm

The sandwich also has succulent butter basted British turkey, for the ultimate in festive treat.

How can you resist all 12 inches of that meaty goodness?

Shoppers won't have to wait long to get their hands on this festive treat either, as it's available in stores from Friday 10th December for just £3.49.

Aldi hasn't just sent shoppers wild for their festive food, their infamous middle aisle and special buys have been in the spotlight too. Last month they invited shoppers to take a sneak peek at their 'unexpected' range of Christmas jumpers and the reaction was insane.

The official Aldi UK Twitter account premiered the promo to their following of almost 600,000 and shoppers have been quick to snap up the bargains on pre-order.

The full Christmas collection, which includes socks, jumpers and festive-themed pants, is expected to be in store soon after flying out via the pre-orders on their website.
