McDonald’s launches new collab for Happy Meals in UK - it's a first-ever

Fans of McDonald's iconic Happy Meals are in for a treat, as the fast food chain has teamed up for a collab with a hugely popular brand.

The never-seen-before collaboration begins today, August 4, as McDonald's has teamed up with Crocs in the UK.

Yes, the footwear that some people love to hate, but others adore, is now a part of the Happy Meal experience.

It follows other team-ups with Squishmallows and even a World Cup collaboration.

Before you ask, no, you won't find a full size pair of Crocs inside, but there's something far cuter instead.

Inside each Happy Meal, customers can find one of 12 adorable mini Croc keyrings, and as if that isn't sweet enough, each little Croc keyring comes inside a miniature shoebox.

What's not to love?

However, if you or your little one aren't a fan of Crocs, you can request a book with the meal instead.

This month's book is 'Gigantic' by Rob Biddulph.

In addition to the keyring (and shoebox), you can also grab Happy Meal activity packs and sheets in store during the promotion, making it a perfect trip for the school summer holidays.

Fans have been raving about the collab online.

One tagged a friend and wrote: "We need to go every night to collect them all!"

Others added: "I need these in my life, how cute," while one commenter chimed in: "I am soooo excited for this."

Someone else simply wrote "NEED" while another wished they did full sized shoes in these designs.

However, others expressed sadness that all of the keyrings are for the right foot, as they were hoping to collect a pair.

If you're looking to save money this summer holiday, there's an offer you need to know about, too.

The price of a Happy Meal in 2026 begins at £4.39 (prices may vary between restaurants).

You get a choice of a Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Mayo Chicken, McFish and Chicken McNuggets, with a side of a fruit or vegetable bag, and a selected small cold drink.

However, as well as getting your cute Croc keyring you can also bag a bargain too thanks to the McDonald's app.

If you download it, you will find an offer throughout August which reduces the price of a Happy Meal to just £2.99 instead, but it excludes McDelivery and can be redeemed once per customer, per day.

Each customer can claim up to four Happy Meals per offer redemption.
