Selling Sunset Fans Spot Clues For When Jason And Chrishell Started Dating

As Selling Sunset becomes more popular, so too do the cast members - and fans subsequently want to know more about their lives off camera. Well, some eagle-eyed viewers have now spotted clues about when Jason and Chrishell started dating.
Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause are both realtors who star in the hit Netflix reality TV series Selling Sunset.
They went public with their relationship in summer 2021, around the same time that season four of Selling Sunset finished filming.
They first met when both were working at Oppenheim Group. However, they kept their relationship a secret in the latest series, despite going public, which baffled fans.
Speaking to US Weekly, Jason, 44, said it was Chrishell’s decision to keep the relationship on the down-low in the latest series of the show.
"I think when [a relationship is] public, it puts a lot of just added pressures and publicity and opinion," he told the publication.
"I think it’s nice to kind of start a relationship in the way that normal relationships kind of grow and progress. And that’s just between two people."
Now that the cat’s out of the bag, fans think they’ve spotted subtle hints of a romance between the two realtors throughout the series. This comes after Jason responded to claims that the pair were secretly dating during season four.
On a Reddit forum for Selling Sunset where fans gossip about the show and cast, one thread lists off a number of clues from previous seasons which, now we know Jason and Chrishell are a thing, totally make sense.
Reddit user @justcameforthesnark started a thread about the relationship and said: “Now that I know they are together, did anyone else notice the hints in season 4 that they are together?”
They mentioned “Chrishell swooning when Jason was holding Christine’s baby,” and “Jason’s jealousy when Simu Liu came in to the office," as two clues that something was going on between Jason and Chrishell.
Another chimed in with other clues about goings on off camera. Reddit user @spk22rk replied with: “And Mary asking Chrishell if she knew what the announcement was going to be. And when Chrishell made a comment about basketball and Jason said: ‘We only watched like 10 mins together one night and now Chrishell thinks she knows basketball’ or something like that!”
In the trailer for season five, Jason and Chrishell can be seen kissing, so it’s clear they’re no longer hiding things in the next season.
Season four of Selling Sunset was released in November 2021 and is available to stream now on Netflix.
