Emma Stone’s shocking NSFW three-word comment about Pedro Pascal sparks backlash

The divisive comment came during Emma's recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

It seems that Pedro Pascal has left quite the impression on Emma Stone, judging by her latest comments about the actor.

It’s no secret that the 50-year-old is a bit of a heartthrob and is building up a long list of admirers, including his co-star, after the duo recently worked together for the movie Eddington.

However, Emma’s very NSFW comments about her The Last Of Us pal have not gone down too well with some fans.

In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on 26 June, the Poor Things actress didn’t hold back when describing Pedro’s talents.

The comments came during a discussion about the viral moment from the premiere event of Eddington at the Cannes Film Festival this year where Emma, Pedro, and Austin Butler were hilariously trying to avoid a bee.

The conversation quickly turned to talking about how popular the star has become and Emma joked: “It’s the Pedro takeover.”

Speaking to guest host Diego Luna, she added: “He’s so wonderful, he’s talented, he’s gorgeous, he’s nice, he’s funny."

Then, to everyone’s surprise, she cheekily added: “I’d f**k him.”

Stunned into laughter, the host simply responded: “I like that to close the interview.”

However, as the clip does the rounds on social media, people are divided and not sure what to make of the shocking three-word response.

On Instagram, one user commented: “But if a male actor said that about her or any other female actor, his career would be over.”

A second questioned: “Isn't she married?” with a third adding: “Shout out to her husband when he hears this quote.”

Others chimed in with: “His career would be over if he said that about her” and “Imagine if a male celebrity said that about a female celebrity. 2025 really is a mess.”

Meanwhile, another said: “If Pedro Pascal has said this about Emma his career would've been over. I love the hypocrisy.”

“Why is everyone so vulgar and overtly sexual now?” questioned another.

But, not everyone was on the same page and other users rushed to defend Emma, simply putting it down to a joke that’s been blown out of proportion on the internet.

One Instagram user wrote: “Why is everyone in the comment section so damn insecure… I promise you that Emma Stone and her husband are in a more healthy and secure relationship than you are currently and will probably ever be because they understand what’s a joke and don’t have an insecure and fragile relationship.”

A second agreed: “So many whiny babies in these comments. If y'all can't trust your partner, just say so. Almost on a daily basis my wife and I have the conversation of 'would you?' It means absolutely nothing to find another human being sexually attractive.”

Tyla has contacted a representative for Emma for comment.
