The moment we've all been waiting for is edging closer - that's right, the highly anticipated The Devil Wears Prada sequel.
Fans of the beloved 2006 movie are preparing to be thrown back into the cutthroat world of fashion magazine journalism as filming reportedly started this week.
And we can barely contain our excitement as a lot of the original cast are set to make their comeback, almost two decades later.
Hollywood legend Meryl Streep will reprise her role as the icon that is Miranda Priestly. At the same time, Anne Hathaway has confirmed she'll be donning that cerulean sweater and 'hideous skirt' combo again as she returns as Andrea 'Andy' Sachs.

Also said to be returning to their respective roles are Emily Blunt as senior assistant Emily and Stanley Tucci as Miranda's right-hand man Nigel.
However, there is one actor from the original flick who reportedly won't be returning - and their role in the first movie certainly divided opinion.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Adrian Grenier, who played Andy's boyfriend, Nate, in the first movie, will not appear in the second film.

For those who need a reminder, Nate was Andy's very laid-back boyfriend who was never a huge fan of her job at Runway Magazine.
He supports her initially as she tries to break into the world of journalism, but quickly becomes fed up with her long working hours and her dedication to her demanding boss.
With his snide remarks and increasing irritation towards his girlfriend, some fans of the film have even dubbed Nate as the real 'villain' of the movie. Ouch.
One user wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "Miranda Priestly was NOT the villain in The Devil Wears Prada. Nate Cooper was.

Miranda was a strong, demanding executive. Nate was a whiny guy who didn't like how much time his girlfriend spent at a job she loved and guilted her into quitting. He was the villain."
Another wrote: "Goodnight to everyone except Nate from The Devil Wears Prada because he thought his birthday was more important than Andy's career."
And a third social media user penned: "Watching, The Devil Wears Prada (for the 178th time), and I will forever scream that Nate was the villain and Andy's biggest hater. Yes, Andy's boyfriend was jealous of her. Shocker. I can't stand his a**."

While Adrian's character is one that definitely divides opinion, he did seemingly reconcile with Hathaway's Andy in the end, which leaves viewers questioning what the sequel would be like without him.
And Adrian himself even agreed with the internet's opinion of Nate, as he explained in a 2021 interview with Entertainment Weekly.
He mused: "[Andy] needed more out of the world than Nate, and she was achieving it. He couldn't support her like she needed to because he was a fragile, wounded boy. There's a selfishness and self-centeredness in that, and I think Andy needed to be held by a man who was an adult.
"On behalf of all the Nates out there: Come on! Step it up!"
