Netflix has confirmed Christmas will come early for fans of its film franchise The Princess Switch.
The third film, titled The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star is set to debut in November, with Vanessa Hudgens returning to play all three roles from 2020’s sequel The Princess Switch: Switched Again.
So much has happened to Queen Margaret, Princess Stacy and Margaret's cousin Fiona since the first film in 2018 and the trio are gearing up for yet another adventure in time for the festive season.

Here’s what you need to know about the third Princess Switch film. We're so ready!
What happens in The Princess Switch 3?
Just like The Princess Switch: Switched Again, Hudgens plays not one, not two but three roles. The High School Musical star will don three personas once again; Queen Margaret, Princess Stacy and Margaret’s look-alike cousin Fiona.
The trio will come together to help track down a mysterious jewel thief. Fiona’s ex, Peter Maxwell (Remy Hii) is also on board to help them return to the stolen relic to safe hands.
Who is returning?
It literally wouldn't be The Princess Switch without Hudgens and luckily she's back to star in the third film, as well as produce it, alongside Brad Krevoy.

Nick Sagar is back as Kevin Richards, Margaret's husband and future Prince Consort of Montenaro. Sam Palladio is making a royal return as Edward Wyndham, Prince of Belgravia, Stacy's husband.
Other returning cast members includes Susanne Braun as Mrs Donatelli, former EastEnders star Ricky Norwood as Reggie, Florence Hall as Mindy, Mia Lloyd as Olivia and Mark Fleischmann as Frank.
Is there a trailer?
Netflix hasn't released a trailer but keep a close eye on Tyla for when it drops. To tide fans over until The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star arrives, the streaming service released three first look images. One image shows Fiona in the middle of what looks like a very intense dance sequence with her ex, played by Remi Hii.
When is it out?
Netflix announced its huge roster of Christmas films and TV shows this week, with a whopping 23 titles. The Princess Switch 3: Switched Again is one of them. The new film drops 18th November.
