It turns out some of your favourite Geordie Shore scenes were completely fabricated for viewers’ amusement, according to Sophie Kasaei, 36, and Abbie Holborn, 29.
In case you’ve never watched the show, Sophie, a born-and-bred South Shields lass, is a Geordie OG who appeared in the inaugural reality TV series way back in 2011.
Right now, only Nathan Henry has appeared in more episodes than the mother-of-one (165 vs 158).
Abbie, meanwhile, joined the radge house in series 14 and has since made appearances in 123 Geordie Shore episodes.

Sophie, who now lives in Essex with The Only Way Is Essex’s Jordan Brook, recently had Abbie on her By The Brook podcast, where the pair discussed behind-the-scenes filming secrets.
At one point, the MTV icons revealed that not everything you see on television is real.

“People ask, ‘How do you cope on Geordie Shore drinking for all that time?,” Sophie began.
“You’d have a bit of a pre-drink wouldn’t you, in the house. You drink while you get ready then the taxis would come.”
Abbie agreed, explaining that when she and the cast would eventually get to the club, she’d grab a glass and dribble vodka into it.
Sophie then dropped a bombshell: the Geordie Shore crew were only in clubs like Bijoux and Floritas for around 90 minutes at a time.
“You be in the club for about an hour, an hour and a bit, because you’d do your scenes,” she confessed.
“And then you’d come back to the house and they’d [the producers] want you to stay up so you could do more filming.

“But by the time we’d get in it would be like three in the morning and we’re absolutely shattered at this point and they’d be like, ‘Have fun, let loose’, and that’s when the food fights would happen.”
Sophie went on to claim that her close pal would always ‘get really into’ the food fights, slipping and sliding on the floor with kebabs and used to ‘love’ getting squirted with tomato ketchup.
The pair’s claims about how long the cast were at the club and that the legendary food fights may not have been 100 percent genuine have sparked debate online.
“Some secrets should be kept,” commented one disgruntled fan, as per The Sun.
“Next there will be reports that EastEnders isn't real and that the real housewives aren't really housewives on Bravo,” someone else joked.

People have previously discussed the food fights in great depth across Twitter, with many calling them wasteful.
“People having food fights on geordie shore gives me the boke, some of them are almost 30, grow up,” one X user typed.
A second replied: “Very unsure why they have constant food fights after nights out on geordie shore, I'd be scranning that food never mind chucking it about.”
“I can confirm that Geordie Shore is still using ‘impromptu’ food fights for entertainment,” someone else replied.
