We’re just days away from the Love Island final, but it seems as if one couple has torn itself apart.
In a dramatic teaser for Thursday night’s episode, villa sweetheart Liberty Poole appears to dump Jake Cornish once and for all.
In a clip for tonight's show, Liberty can be seen telling her boyfriend: "I just don't feel like you love me for me and I want someone who loves me for me."

To which he replies: "What are we saying then, are we saying we'll go our separate ways then?"
Liberty then reportedly hands Jake back the bracelet he gave her when asking to be boyfriend and girlfriend.
It comes after last night's show teased a spoiler which showed Liberty telling the girls: “We’re just not right for each other,” before bursting into tears.
This is the second time the sincerity of ‘Jiberty’ has been called into question, after the other Islanders questioned Jake’s true intentions and accused him of being fake.

Faye Winter and Chloe Burrows felt that Jake suddenly telling Liberty that he loved her, only shortly after she said she was wondering about the sincerity of their relationship, was equally as false.
While the pair managed to patch things up then. It’s not clear what has caused this sudden change of heart in the villa.
The teaser comes after Jake’s own dad said his son “wasn’t clever enough” to have a game plan and fake his feelings.

Writing on his Facebook page, Mark Cornish said: “It’s Jake’s last week in the villa and as his parents we have really enjoyed watching his relationship with Liberty develop.
“It’s been hard at times, to see his loyalty and honesty called into question when we know him to be completely genuine.
“Please continue to support Jake and his feelings for Liberty which are from the heart. And as always, be kind.”

He added to BristolLive: “It's quite an emotional thing to see your son struggling. The worst thing about it for us is seeing the vile comments - mainly from keyboard warriors that don't understand Jake.
“They just see him on the telly and think that he's in it for the money or he's a bit of a, you know, bit of a snake and you know, I'm not being horrible to Jake but he's not intelligent enough to have a game plan!"
