Love Island star Sean Fitzgerald's ex is reportedly 'in talks' to head into the villa very soon.
The Irish contestant has been coupled up with police detective Lola Deal since the first day of the ITV series, and the pair recently decided to 'close things off'.
Despite their growing romance, a source has told Goss.ie that producers have been in touch with one of Sean’s exes about joining the show as a bombshell.
The insider said: "Love Island producers are always looking to surprise Islanders with their exes, and this series is no different.
"From Jack Fincham’s ex Ellie in 2018 to Harry Cooksley’s ex Emma last year, a former flame never fails to shake up the villa.

The source added: "Love Island producers have reached out to one of Sean’s exes about the possibility of becoming a bombshell."
"Sean’s ex has yet to decide if she wants to enter the villa, but she is keeping her options open."

The pair have been together since the opening day of the series and, during a recent conversation on the terrace, Sean opened up to Lola about how he was feeling.
He told her: "When you spend 24 hours of every day with someone, I think you do get to know someone a lot more…
"Coming in, I said I wanted somebody who’s tapped, weird, and someone who is funny. Like, you get my humour, but you actually make me laugh too, which is kind of rare. And I do think, as well, the trust thing.
Sean and Lola have been together since the opening day of the series (ITV) "Like, I literally have my— if there was a recoupling, I already have my speech ready. And one thing I’d be saying is like, I have never met a girl ever who has made me trust so quickly.

Following the chat, the couple agreed to keep themselves off from getting to know other Islanders romantically and even joked about having four children together one day.
Reflecting on the milestone in the Beach Hut, Sean said: "I know myself and Lola are getting on good. I am surprised, but I’m also not surprised because I suppose when you just know, you know."
