Love Island UK star Jasmine detailed painful split from very famous ex before sharing with islanders

Eagle-eyed Love Island UK fans have found a video by Jasmine Muller from before she went into the villa, where they velieve she is talking about her famous ex.

Jasmine, 27, dated a famous footballer before her time on the show.

The reality TV beauty was previously linked to Spanish La Liga footballer Hector Bellerin.

During a recent episode Jasmine, who has coupled up with Kavan Murphy in the villa, told her housemates that she had previously dated a Premier League player.

She insisted she wanted to be 'very private about' that relationship.

Jasmine did let slip that the relationship ended five years ago, while talking to the other islanders on Love Island UK.

It is said that she told ITV producers about her ex before she went into the villa, saying she and Bellerin had been an item in the early stages of his career, when he was playing for Arsenal.

In the resurfaced video, she begins: "A couple years ago I went through a really bad heartbreak."

"When I tell you really bad, I was a mess, I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't do anything," she added, talking to the camera while in her car.

"I didn't care about anything in my life or my future, I was just miserable," she continued. "I came out of the other side of it and a lot of my friends came to me asking how did you do that?"

"I think the goal when you're dealing with a heartbreak shouldn't be to get over someone.... because at the end of the day that person is always going to have a big impact on who you are now."

"You're never the same before and after a heartbreak, you just never are. I think the goal is just to feel gratitude towards the experience and also to be able to look at things in your life as things that come and go and to not feel possession or ownership over people," she added, before continuing: "I don't think that's very healthy at all."

"That's the root of jealousy and toxicity, no-one owes you anything! When you trust someone else, you're not trusting that they'll never hurt you, you're trusting yourself that you love yourself enough that if you need to get out of that situation, you know how to."

"I'm still figuring all of it out, it does take a little while," she confessed.

On Love Island UK, talking about her ex in her VT she said: "I have a lot of time for him, there's not really any drama or anything interesting to say about it because we both just have a lot of love for each other.

"It was a healthy and lovely relationship, and I suppose it did prepare me a little for high profile things."

She also told tell OK!: "It [was] so long ago now that I don't think about it on a day-to-day basis, but I'm sure that having lived that at such a young age has obviously prepared me."

Jasmine continued: "As have other things, I've been in the public eye with an online job since I was like 19."

She added: "So it's been a while of doing a public facing job, I guess. I don't know if that's the right way to put it, but I think I feel prepared and I feel like I know that people like to talk and it doesn't really bother me too much."
