Obsession fans are only just clocking where they recognise star Inde Navarrette from.
Horror lovers around the world have been raving over the indie flick, which only just hit cinemas last month (15 May) before making a staggering $151 million at the box office with less than a $1 budget.
Dubbed the 'most f*cked up horror movie' of the year, Obsession follows Bear (played by Michael Johnston), a music store employee who buys a supernatural toy that grants him his wish for his friend Nikki (Navarrette) to fall in love with him.
Given the genre, the ordeal inevitably ends up resulting in some pretty stomach-churning consequences.

Navarrette's spine-chilling performance has sky-rocketed her into fame, but some fans are only just realising that she previously starred on a pretty well-known Netflix show, 13 Reasons Why.
Last month, Netflix shared a montage of the actress in the TV series along with the caption: "One thing about @indenavarrette... she's gonna give you 14 emotions in 3 seconds #13ReasonsWhy."
Navarrette starred as Estela de la Cruz in the hit Netflix series alongside Dylan Minnette as Clay Jensen and Katherine Langford as Hannah Baker.
The drama landed on the streamer back in 2017, with Navarrette joining in the fourth and final season, which aired in 2020.
Obsession's Inde Navarrette also starred in 13 Reasons Why (Focus Features) After putting two and two together, fans rushed to social media to share their reactions.
One fan confessed: "I forgot she was on the show."
Fans were baffled after making the connection (Netflix) "Wait woahhhh, I don’t remember her!" revealed a second as a third chimed in: "OMGG THAT WAS HERRRR? How did I not realise!"
A fourth chirped: "Omg she was! No wonder she looked familiar!"
"Omg I didn’t realise that was her!" echoed a fifth as a sixth penned: "Oh okay so that's where I have seen her from!"
A seventh praised: "Finally, someone posted this !! real one's been there for her since season 4, 13 Reasons Why."
"Real ones were there day 1!!!" another agreed.
And a final fan gushed: "I am obsessed with this girl."
Aren't we all?
Given the film's raging success, which has seen it become one of the most profitable film releases for years, Obsession has now had its streaming debut pushed back in order to extend its exclusive theatrical window.
The film was originally meant to land on digital streaming platforms earlier this month (2 June), but that's since been delayed.
Obsession is currently available to watch in selected cinemas.
