Supergirl is set to hit cinemas later this week on Friday (26 June), and fans across the world are clearly buzzing to see the latest instalment in the DCU film franchise.
Unsurprisingly, a whole load of merch has been released ahead of the movie hitting the silver screen, including one very NSFW-looking cup which has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.
The AMC-designed cup in question is super similar to the iconic Superman crest cup, which came out years back, but this new one features an added accessory to mimic Kara Zor-El in her blue suit and her tan coat.
From certain angles, the flesh-coloured jacket cup looks innocent enough, but when viewed from behind or side-on, it looks like, well, a penis.

Or, more specifically, foreskin, according to the internet.

It didn't take long for fans to rush to social media to share their reactions to the merch.
One X user penned: "Clearly they were going for Supergirl on her tan jacket. But it does NOT come off like that."
"Why does my Supergirl cup have a foreskin?!?!" joked a second as a third piped up: "Is that Silly Putty or foreskin?"
A fourth chimed in: "It’d be fine if they left off the foreskin-looking jacket."

"So, no one spoke up when they put this in production and said the customer might say it looks like foreskin, and it would get criticism on social media," commented a fifth.
A sixth echoed: "I genuinely want to know who gave a green light to that thing; they should never work in marketing again."
"This is a really bad design," slammed another, while a final X user quipped: "The best promo for this movie so far."
The cup has become such a talking point that Entertainment Tonight even showed it to Superman star David Corenswet during a recent red carpet appearance.

"I don’t like that one bit… I don’t understand, and I don’t think I want it explained," he said before fellow Superman actor Nicholas Hoult joked: "I need a lot of those."
"It reminds me of…" Hoult continued before Corenswet stopped him, saying: "No, no no no no."
Supergirl, directed by Craig Gillespie, stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El with Jason Momoa as Lobo, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll and Emily Beecham as Alura.
Supergirl will be screened in selected cinemas from Thursday (26 June).
