Harry Potter: Return To Hogwarts Lucius Malfoy Actor Accidentally Stabbed Tom Felton On Set Leaving Him In Tears

Harry Potter: Return To Hogwarts Lucius Malfoy Actor Accidentally Stabbed Tom Felton On Set Leaving Him In Tears

Jason Isaac took no prisoners.

Jason Isaacs has lifted the lid on getting into character as one of the most disliked figures in the Harry Potter franchise, Lucius Malfoy.

Isaacs, who played Draco Malfoy’s Death Eater dad throughout the franchise has revealed he was so vicious when playing the white haired governor of Hogwarts, he brought Tom Felton (who played Draco Malfoy) to tears.

Speaking on the upcoming Harry Potter reunion show, Return to Hogwarts, Isaacs explained that he went a little too hard when he first came on set.

“The very first scene that I shot was cut and is on the deleted scenes, Draco touches something and I use this cane and say, ‘Don’t touch anything Draco!’” he recalled.

“I didn't know how sharp the teeth were [on my cane] and they went right into little Tom's hand and he looked up at me with his eyes welled with tears.

“I went, 'Tom, I'm so sorry I didn't realise sharp it was or heavy they were'. He went (said in a whimpering voice), 'it's alright, it's good for the scene!’”

The next scene sees Tom Felton himself open up on filming scenes with Isaacs, who embraced Lucius’s nasty side while filming.

“He would be this evil father then they would say cut and he would come and give you a cuddle and go, 'did I hit you too hard?' Real Jekyll and Hyde that one.”

Isaacs and Felton have remained firm friends after the Harry Potter franchise drew to a close, with Potterheads the world over moved at Isaacs’ particularly heartwarming tribute to Felton on his birthday.

The actor took to Twitter to post a throwback snap alongside the Draco Malfoy star, as he said Tom was 'always a ray of light to me.'

Gushing about Tom, Jason wrote: "Holy hairy heroes son - you’re Jesus’s age today! In these strangest of dark days you’re always a ray of light to me.

"Thanks for making mischief, music and magic for this fan (and all the others too). Happiest of Birthday Bonanzas Love ya kid Fake Dad x."

Tom was delighted by the message from Jason, who played Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, and wrote back: "Love you dad x".

We cant wait to see what else we discover in Return to Hogwarts.
