Man Wins Halloween With His Rebekah Vardy Instagram Account Costume
We knew there were going to be a fair few Rebekah Vardy-slash-Coleen Rooney costumes this Halloween. Hell, we even gave you some tips on how craft the irresistible pop culture contender.
But what we did not expect was to have such a strong frontrunner for best Wagatha Christie look so early in the celebrations - and OH IT IS GOOD.
Yes, Kieran Nuge from Belfast rocked up to his Halloween party at the weekend not as either of the WAGs per se, but as the Instagram interface at the heart of the scandal.
The 25-year-old had cleverly imagined the screenshots we all wish Coleen had posted: those infamous red herring Instagram Stories and that solitary viewer - Vardy.
For those that need a refresh, the drama kicked off on Wednesday 9th October when the wife of Wayne Rooney revealed she had orchestrated a stealthy 18-month sting operation on Instagram in a bid to sniff out the person leaking fake stories about her.
Coleen had been posting fake stories on her personal Instagram account, and seeing if they made them into the papers.
In what will go down as one of the most dramatic revelations in social media history, the mum-of-four revealed the account that she's had narrowed down had been that of Rebekah Vardy, premiership footballer Jamie Vardy's wife.
"I chose to do it based on the Vardy/Rooney scandal because its topical and I just thought it would be funny because we never actually got to see the screenshot," Kieran tells Tyla.
Really exercising his detailed knowledge of the scandal, Kieran depicted the three fake stories Coleen had posted on her private 'gram, including bogus stories about her baby gender selection in Mexico, her non-existent talks with Strictly Come Dancing producers, and fake news about her home flooding.

Explaining how he made his costume, Kieran says: "I just used a canvas and got some paint and printed off the images from the Internet. I made it on my kitchen floor at like 2am on the Friday night and it only took me about an hour or so."
He goes on: "Honestly the reaction has been amazing, I'm glad that others have got a good laugh from it. I kinda knew that it would get a good reaction but would never have imagined it going viral, I'm so shocked about it."
Posting his masterpiece on Twitter, he soon racked up over 13 thousand retweets and over 100,000 likes.
Naturally, people applauded the costume, with many calling it "genius".
"I am OBSESSED," wrote one person.
"Best Halloween costume of 2019," boldly said another.
"You should be overwhelmingly proud of yourself for this," gushed a third.
"This is the greatest costume EVER," said another.
This wins Halloween so far. Other Rebekah-Coleen fancy dressers, it's your play.
