A couple wowed their guests on the big day with a Disney themed wedding, including a ten tier cake decorated with famous characters from the franchise.

Siobhan Perdue, 24, and Sean, 29, tied the knot on October 12th and opted for an unconventional wedding cake to match their film favourites theme, complete with Minnie and Mickey mouse topper.

The impressive cake was 3 ft 10 inches tall and each tier differed in flavour, with chocolate, red velvet, vanilla, toffee, caramel and carrot cakes.

Siobhan naturally wore a princess tiara and the couple also dressed their flower girls in princess outfits.

They incorporated other nods, from prince and princess printed favour bags and film-themed tables to Mickey and Minnie Mouse balloons, even using the Disney font on their stationery.

Siobhan said: "We both absolutely love Disney, the first film we watched together was Beauty and The Beast - it only seemed right to have a Disney themed wedding.

Wedding favours had Disney prince and princess on too. (

While the big day, held at The Best Western Diplomat Hotel, Llanelli, had plenty of nods throughout, it was the cake that stole the show for Siobhan and her guests.

Siobhan from Swansea, Wales said: "When I first saw the cake, I almost cried it was perfect.

"It was the talk of the wedding, I had so many messages the following day about it - even more than the actual ceremony.

Each tier was a different flavour.

"I was so impressed, every tier was amazing and each one represented our guests table.

"The Toy Story themed table had figurines and balloons and the same with Frozen, Aladdin and the rest.

"We still have eight tiers left so I think we will be eating cake for the rest of the year!"

Although she is not willing to disclose the full price paid to Blissful Bakes and Tea Room in Swansea, she says it was in excess of £1000.

We're just surprised it didn't cost even more given the amount of tiers and the impressive job they did. It looks no mean feat.

The tea room was asked if they could take on the challenge and they were excited to give it a go.

It took 76 hours to bake and decorate the cake.

The manager, Mandy Heskins, 55, said: "We have never baked a cake this big before, six tiers is our biggest.

"We were all so excited to give it a go and were completely up for the challenge!

"It took six hours to bake each of the cakes and then 16 hours to decorate, it was fun for everyone but I imagine nerve wrecking for those who had to carry it.

They even used the Disney font on their stationery. (

"I would love to make more cakes like this in the future!"

We know who we'll be giving a call when one of our weddings rolls around.
