According to voters in the US, Canada, UK, France, and Germany, an outbreak of World War Three is more likely than not in the next five years.
And if global conflict does erupt, there's one place you'd definitely be safe - but there's a huge catch.
But first, for context, a Politico Poll shared last month, which questioned more than 2,000 people in each country, revealed the 'mounting public alarm about the risk and cost of a new era of conflict'.
This has only been worsened by the conflict in the Middle East, which began over the weekend, after the US and Israel targeted Iran with airstrikes on Saturday (28 February).

Iran retaliated by launching strikes of their own at America's assets and allies, such as Israel, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates.
Now, we're in the fifth day of fighting, and as the death toll and damage are rising, people are beginning to worry about the possibility of a wider-scale global conflict, aka a Third World War.

Although this is, at the moment, a completely hypothetical situation for those of us not in the countries that are affected by the current conflict, people have still been debating the 'safest countries to be in,' as well as what to stockpile in the event of an emergency, and who exactly would be sent off to the frontlines.
According to The Tab, there's one location that's been dubbed the 'safest restaurant in the world' - the Cheyenne Mountain Complex.
It's essentially a secret, very high-security, military complex that's buried 2,000 feet beneath Cheyenne Mountain, in El Paso County, Colorado Springs.
There are very few places that could survive if we did end up in a war involving nuclear weapons, which have the potential to wipe out an entire city in one go.
The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) explains how a single nuclear bomb detonated over a large city could kill millions of people.
If we're talking tens or hundreds of nuclear bombs, this would disrupt the global climate, causing widespread famine.
Casualties from a major nuclear war between the US and Russia, for example, would reach hundreds of millions, causing devastating casualties around the world.

Cheyenne Mountain Complex dates all the way back to the height of the Cold War and was built to withstand Soviet nuclear attacks, but is now used as a functional backup command center for NORAD (The North American Aerospace Defense Command) and USNORTHCOM (United States Northern Command).
It was first built in 1966 for a total of $142.4 million and, as reported by NewsNation, the complex can withstand a nuclear blast of multiple megatons, or one 1,000 times stronger than Hiroshima, even if it were to be dropped near the bunker itself.
The underground complex is basically a self-contained city, and has its own power plant, heating and cooling systems, as well as dystopian underground lakes to provide water.
Military officials have said it has enough food supplies to last 'a very long time,' including its very own functioning Subway - yes, really.
It allegedly greets visitors with a sign reading: "Welcome to the most secure Subway.”
But as reported by The Tab, even if you did manage to somehow get inside the extremely secure base, you'd be sharing it with none other than Donald Trump himself.
The choice is yours!
