An adorable one-eyed corgi with a birth defect is thriving against all the odds.
Along with her single eye, little Nekku was born with "two noses", which some say makes her look like "a double-barrelled shotgun".
The genetic defects caused vets to suggest that Nekku be put down, but thankfully she's now living the best life possible with a loving owner and two fellow corgis in Finland.
Jarmo Korhonen, 38, bought her from the breeder and fell in love with her instantly.

He proud pooch owner, who works as a researcher, said: "Being fluffy is a genetic error with corgis, but Nekku also has two noses, one eye and two united vertebrae on her back.
"The breeder said that she wouldn't survive long, or would have plenty of difficulties in future.
"Vets were very suspicious about Nekku's development and they proposed euthanasia as a solution - but I didn't want to let that happen.
"The breeder also thought that nobody would accept Nekku, and they had to put her down but I couldn't even think about the idea that she couldn't find a safe home."

Now eight, Nekku has surpassed expectations and loves hanging out with Jarmo's other two corgis, Niisku-Neiti and Karkki.
According to the owner, the pack of pooches are "best friends" - aww!
Even more adorably, Nekku often gets sticks and grass stuck in between her two noses - and gets a lot of attention from passers by on walks as a result!
Jarmo said: "Some say that her name should be Beretta because her nose looks like a double-barrelled shotgun.
"If we take Nekku for a city walk, it is impossible to just walk. We have to stop every now and then to answer questions and comments about Nekku's nose, eye and fluffy fur - everybody loves her unique appearance.

The one-eyed pooch also has "problems with understanding 3D perspective", with Jarmo explaining that "she used to hit her head and bump into other dogs".
Today Jarmo runs a popular Instagram page for his troupe of three corgis, named @karkkicorgi.
He said: "It's been a miracle that this funky, fluffy creature exceeded expectations, even with her own cute and weird way.
"Luckily we had a chance to give her a fancy corgi life in the countryside.

"She made it loud and clear to everybody pretty soon, that she would make it!"
After seeing these pics, we think everyone needs a Nekku in their lives.
