A TikToker has created toasted sandwiches using Yorkshire puddings instead of bread - and we are drooling.
The 'Yorkie toastie' has been created by Roland May, 43, from Buckinghamshire, who has been showing followers how to make the delicious toasted sandwiches on TikTok.
To make the tasty sarnie, Roland begins by filling a Yorkshire pudding with a dollop of mashed potato followed by four pigs in blankets.
Then comes the cheese. He places a layer of edam cheese over the top and repeats the process before sandwiching the two Yorkies together.
The whole thing goes inside a sandwich maker for three minutes until golden brown and oozing with cheese.
Roland cuts the toastie in half and serves with a bowl of gravy for dunking. It looks so good.
The viral video has racked up over 175,000 views and 10,400 likes so far, with people planning on making the delicious recipe themselves.
One person commented: “This has got my mouth watering mate. Defo gonna [sic] be making this one for the family.”
“I’d consider leaving my girlfriend for these bad boys,” someone else said.
Another user added: “Can’t beat pigs and blankets mate.”
“Omg we just got gluten free ones so I’ll be having these for din dins!” commented someone else [sic].
Another user said: “Oh my that looks so good.”
Roland has also been getting followers in the Christmas spirit with another Yorkie toastie recipe that is filled with a Christmas dinner and all the delicious trimmings.
Seriously, we have to make these.
In other important toasted sandwich news, TikTok user FoodMadeSimple has now found a way to make a toastie with just one slice of bread, eliminating the issue of not having enough cheese or filling in the corners of the sandwich.
