The acclaimed actor has recorded voiceovers for the McCrispy, the Big Arch and McDonald's breakfast campaign across TV and radio.

The actor’s first voiceovers were for the McCrispy, the Big Arch and Breakfast done property, across TV and radio.

“Stephen brings a rare combination of cultural credibility and everyday warmth that feels perfectly aligned with where McDonald’s is today,” said marketing and menu director at McDonald’s UK & Ireland, Hannah Pain.

“As we continue to embrace a more culture‑first approach, his voice helps us connect with audiences in a way that feels honest, contemporary and familiar, building on the brilliant legacy Dexter created with us over many years.”

According to Maccies, the Primetime Emmy Award winner brings ‘strong cultural resonance’.

Born in Liverpool, Stephen Graham has built a career spanning more than three decades.

From his breakout role as Tommy in Snatch to his acclaimed performance as Combo in This Is England, Graham has and established himself as one of Britain's most respected actors.

He has also starred in the hit HBO drama Boardwalk Empire, BBC's hugely popular police thriller Line of Duty, and the critically acclaimed Boiling Point.

More recently, Graham starred in Netflix's gripping drama Adolescence, for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award.

In fast-food news, McDonald's recently announced that it was expanding its McCrispy range, adding two new permanent options to its menu to create an iconic line-up.

The burger has a 100 percent chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating served in a delicious sourdough-style sesame seed bun, the burger is topped with refreshing iceberg lettuce and black pepper mayonnaise.

Foodies can now sink their teeth into two, game-changing new variations of the McCrispy.

Introducing the Spicy McCrispy, which replaces black pepper mayo with a wicked spicy sauce that the chain promises will provide the ‘perfect chilli kick’.

The spicy mayo sauce is also available to purchase on its own for 60p,

You can also opt for the Cheese & Bacon McCrispy fwhich eatures all the elements of the classic McCrispy with an added slice of cheese and a strip of succulent bacon.

The McCripsy and the Spicy McCrispy cost £5.99 individually or can be upgraded to a medium meal for £7.49.

It’ll cost a little bit more for the Cheese & Bacon McCrispy, with McDonald’s listing it for £7.09 on its own or £8.59 as part of the medium meal upgrade.
