BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood has revealed she's tied the knot with her partner Steve Randall.

Carol, 61, has married Steve, 48, in a lovely Christmas wedding ceremony after he popped the question while they were on holiday together.

The newlyweds have been together since 2021 with Steve proposing to his now-wife in May of last year.

She first revealed her engagement live on BBC Breakfast from the Chelsea Flower Show back in 2022.

At the time, the Scottish weather presenter gave viewers a glimpse of her engagement ring during a weather forecast and said: "We went out for a picnic, I had absolutely no idea.

"The weather was glorious, we were sitting chatting... he was fumbling in his pocket and then out came a ring, I thought he was joking actually, I didn't believe him to start with."

The 'intimate' wedding took place just a couple days after Christmas Day (27 December) and the BBC star has since shared with fans a little more about the occasion.
