First it was Peaky Blinders' Cillian Murphy, then it was Idris Elba and THEN it was the gorgeous Tom Hardy who became the bookies' favourite last month to be cast as the next James Bond.
Most recently, rumours were swirling that former One Direction singer Harry Styles was in the running to replace Daniel Craig, and we won't lie - we'd love to see that!

Unfortunately according to 26-year-old Harry's reps, it ain't happening though, as they told MailOnline that the rumours are "not even remotely true."
Excuse us while we throw a mini tantrum.

The rumours started making headlines after a source told The Sun: "Harry is deadly serious. He has had a series of high-level meetings about becoming 007. Harry believes he is the final two.
"Harry is a new age British man... he's confident in his own skin and making him Bond would signal the franchise changing with the times."

The heartthrob is well aware that people would love to see him take on the role of 007, though he's never seemed to take the idea seriously.
"I mean, who wouldn't?" he said during an interview with Britain's Hits Radio when he was asked about his interest in playing Bond.
"I grew up watching those. You know, I loved him when I was a kid. So I think it's kind of everyone's dream a little bit, right?"

So if it's not Harry, then who is it? Tom Hiddleston, James Norton and rising Normal People star Paul Mescal have all been floated - but to be honest, we are a little sad that it's not going to be Harry.
Just another 2020 letdown.
