'Friends' Fans Spot Creepy Detail In 'The One With Rachel's New Dress'
Friends fans have spotted a creepy detail in 'The One With Rachel's New Dress' while watching re-runs on Netflix.
In the classic episode, Rachel, played by Jennifer Aniston, is planning a romantic night with her new love interest Josh-oo-aa, played by the Friends actress' ex-boyfriend Tate Donovan.
But things don't go to plan when he freaks out about Joey and Chandler's chick and duck, so the pair head over to Joshua's parents house as they are on holiday.
In an attempt to save the night, Rachel changes into lingerie before posing on a sofa in a bid to surprise her date.
However, it gets a bit embarrassing when she's greeted by his parents who have returned early from their trip.
As Rachel tries to make excuses for her outfit, fans noticed that the eyes of a statue behind her light up a scary shade of red. However, they disappear after a few seconds.
In the scene Rachel explains: "I work in fashion and this is a real dress. They're wearing it in Milan... A part of my job is to wear the clothes and then I see how people respond and then I report back to my superiors at Bloomingdales.
"And obviously in this case, I'm going to report back USA, not ready.''
As Joshua's father awkwardly asks if the pair have eaten, the eyes can be seen lighting up in the background.
One Reddit user pointed out the evil looking eyes, writing: "So I'm on the episode 'The One with Rachel's New Dress' and I noticed something odd."
Other fans were shocked at the statue. One user wrote: "Wtffff creepy!"
Tate recently opened up about the difficulty of filming alongside Jennifer during their break-up.
He told US Weekly: "I was just happy to be on the team. The only bummer was Jennifer and I were breaking up at the time.
"And so that was tricky to sort of act, and act like we are just meeting each other, and falling in love, or whatever, interested in each other, when we're sort of breaking up."
