Who could forget the moment Grant Mitchell found out his brother Phil, was sleeping with his wife Sharon? Not us, that's for sure.

It's one of the most iconic episodes of EastEnders ever, and now we can all relive it from the comfort of our sofas.

We've even provided a little snippet of the episode below...

Now that the pre-filmed episodes of EastEnders have come to a close, BBC is airing one-off iconic episodes every week on a Tuesday evening.

And of course, the classic Sharongate ep made the cut. and viewers will be transported all the way back to 1994 to rewatch the juicy drama, which takes place in the Queen Vic.

If you need a recap, the episode reveals the moment Grant (Ross Kemp) finds out about Sharon (Letitia Dean) and Phil's affair. He storms into the Queen Vic - where Phil (Steve McFadden) and Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) are hosting their engagement party no less - and spills the news to the whole of Albert Square.

Sharon is mortified - as is Phil - and Kathy slaps her across the face before calling her a "sl*t".

You've gotta love the drama of it!

Next week, fans of the soap will be treated to yet another iconic episode - Syed (Marc Elliot) and Amira's (Preeya Kalidas) wedding.

The drama-filled ep - which originally aired on New Year's Day in 2010 - sees Syed's mum Zainab (Nina Wadia) learn the truth about her son's sexuality and the affair he'd been having with Christian Clarke (John Partridge).

But will the wedding go ahead? EastEnders fans will know the answer, but we'll leave you hanging just in case.

Earlier this month, fans were gutted when the soap went off air for the first time in 35 years. The show had run out of episodes due to filming being halted since March.

The finale ended with some seriously dramatic cliffhangers, and viewers have been desperate to know when it will resume ever since.

But there is good news on the horizon - the soap returned to filming this week, with cast and crew adhering to government guidelines and social distancing measures.

We can't wait for EastEnders to be back on telly, but in the meantime we have to admit we are loving reliving these old classics!
