Fans of nostalgic noughties films roll up, as a Mean Girls themed afternoon tea is coming to London.

Inspired by our favourite mean teens Regina George et al, fans can expect Instagram-worthy desserts, tasty sandwiches and more with a side of some of the film's most well-known quotes thrown in for good measure.

And, what's more, there's even a specially made Burn Book for writing down your frustrations or venting after a tough week. Count us in!

Hosted by DUO London, there are tickets available for this Wednesday onwards. The themed afternoon tea includes a "You can't sit with us" cake slice - made of vanilla and strawberry, a "full of secrets" giant meringue lollipop with raspberry shell and the "So fetch" macarons.

Fans of the comedy film can also sip on candy floss cocktails while they wait, or enjoy a selection of meat, veggie or vegan sandwiches - all of which sound delicious in themselves. Think red pepper courgettes, aubergines, and pesto crème fraîche!

Released in 2004, Mean Girls focused on Cady Heron, played by Lindsay Lohan, who moves to a new school and joins the popular clique, The Plastics.

After Regina sets her up at a Halloween party, Cady quickly works out who her real friends are and sets about to form a plan of revenge on Regina, which backfires when she is accused of writing the Burn Book, a scrapbook filled with rumours about pupils and staff at the school.

'Mean Girls' starred Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert and Rachel McAdams (

The popular film, which also starred Rachel McAdams as queen bee Regina George and Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert as Regina's sidekicks Karen Smith and Gretchen Wieners, gave us famous quotes such as "That's so fetch!", "You go Glen Coco" and "On Wednesdays we wear pink".

Tickets for the Mean Girls themed afternoon tea start at £39. Book your space on this exciting event through Fever Up here.
