She said: "The thing that's always been wrong in my life is men. That is from an early age. I was raped as a kid. At seven. That is in my first book. I was in a park."

Katie has previously spoken about the incident in her 2004 autobiography Being Jordan and on a 2017 episode of Loose Women.

The 42-year-old also said she grew close to a photographer who became "obsessed" with her and took indecent pictures of her when she was just 12-years-old.

She said: "And then I got involved with this photographer who ended up being in prison.

"He was obsessed with me.

"He took indecent photographs that I thought were innocent at the time. I was 12.

"He made me do pictures where I was sticking my tongue out. They looked young and girly but to him. It is sexual. He used to make these milkshakes. I never took one because I didn't like it.

"The police when they came around.. that's what he did he made the girls drink them and he drugged them."

The reality TV star also said "someone tried to get me in their car".

She revealed: "My mum has had this constant all the time. My dad left although I can't remember... subconsciously your mind remembers everything. It is there."

Katie also spoke in detail about her trip to South Africa three years ago where she was sexually assaulted at gunpoint in front of her children.

After the family stopped at the roadside so Junior, now 15, could use the toilet, they were held up.

"We were out in South Africa with the kids Junior and Princess with ITV. We had no security," Katie said.

"Junior wanted a wee. We got out the car. And all I remember him saying is ''mum imagine if I jump down here''. Next thing you know a car pulled up, six guys in it, out with their guns.

"They did things to me in front of my kids in the car. They had a gun to my head. We thought we were going to die."

The incident in South Africa was so traumatic her daughter Princess, now 14, had to have therapy. The police said it was 'unusual' that the men didn't kill Katie or her children.

"Princess had therapy after that. She still doesn't like night time," she explained. "There is a lot that has gone on with that. I can't even tell you how traumatic it was. We all thought we were going to die.

"'People just drive past they are used to it out there. The police came and said: 'it is so unusual that they didn't kill you.
