A vegan meal subscription company is on the lookout for the UK's biggest meat lover - and hoping to convert them to veganism with a cash incentive.

Yep, Vibrant Vegan and offering the equivalent of a £50k salary to anyone who eats a completely plant-based diet for three months.

The part-time 'Vegan Curious Coordinator' will sign a contract pledging to not consume any animal byproducts while trialling, testing and encouraging others to give the vegan lifestyle a goon social media.

They'll also receive an unlimited supply of vegan ready meals to keep them fed, which will arrive on top of their salary.

Part of the Vegan Curious Coordinator role will involve sharing thoughts on the brand's meals, but it will also largely be centred around speaking to other meat eaters about their experiences of making the switch.

At the end of the three month period, the Vegan Curious Coordinator will be asked whether they want to sign a contract committing them to a vegan diet for the rest of 2021.

If they decide to go ahead, they'll be given a complementary lifetime supply of Vibrant Vegan meals, which is worth £100,000. Wowza.

The role is being advertised in the hopes of providing "a real-life account of plant-based diets and encourage more Brits to become vegan curious in 2021".

The Vegan Curious Coordinator will document their experience on Vibrant Vegan's social channels and website.

It comes after a survey conducted by the brand found a third (34 per cent) of people admitted they were 'vegan curious'.

Plus, Google Trends search data proved vegan related searches are now three times higher than they were in 2017, with searches peaking each January, coinciding with Veganuary.

The winning applicant will be selected on January 25th, and their vegan journey will begin on 1st February.

The only condition is that you currently eat meat, and are aged 18 to 65 years old.

To apply, you'll have to prove your meat heavy diet and go into detail about why you're right for the role.

Iain Burke-Hamilton, founder of Vibrant Vegan, said: "There was a time when being vegan was an all or nothing lifestyle choice; and vegan food options were considered lesser than their meat-based counterparts.

"As we head into the New Year, we at Vibrant Vegan want to demonstrate not only the health and environmental benefits of being vegan that we hear so much about, but also highlight that vegan food can, and should, be enjoyed by everyone - even the UK's biggest meat lover!"

He added: "We're incredibly excited to hire our first Vegan Curious Coordinator and to watch them share their journey with people that love good food and are interested in a vegan lifestyle but perhaps feel it's too much of a commitment or simply aren't sure where to start.

"Everyone has their own reasons for choosing veganism; we want to show it doesn't have to be all or nothing, and you don't have to sacrifice good food for the cause."
