You might assume that being President of the United States would mean fine dining and haute cuisine at all times.
Not so for Donald Trump, who is known for his adoration of fast food and drinking soda.
It was once alleged that Trump drank around 12 cans of Diet Coke per day during his first term in office, and he even installed a 'Diet Coke button' in the Oval Office, which he could press to summon someone to fetch him another can of his beloved drink.
It has also been reported in the past that his medical team and chefs have even resorted to trying to hide vegetables in his food, in an attempt to improve the President's diet.

The New York Times interviewed one of Trump's former physicians, Ronny Jackson, who in 2018 alleged: “We were making the ice cream less accessible, we were putting cauliflower in the mashed potatoes.”

He said the team tried to encourage Trump to work out more: "The exercise stuff never took off as much as I wanted it to. But we were working on his diet."
According to Sky News, the physician also said they had been aiming to get Trump to lose 10 to 15lbs for his health, but said he insisted that playing golf was enough exercise.
Trump was photographed many times over the years on the campaign trail on a private jet, indulging in buckets of KFC chicken and pots of gravy, and on another occasion, McDonalds.
He was also recently photographed for a press opportunity accepting a Doordash delivery of fast food to the White House.
While attending a working lunch at the United Nations General Assembly in 2018, The Independent reports that a server poured Diet Coke into a wine glass for him instead.
The President has also made his feelings clear about expensive state dinners, with Time Magazine quoting him as saying "We shouldn’t have such costly state dinners at all. We should be eating a hamburger on a conference table."

Another former staffer of Trump's, former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, wrote a book called Let Trump Be Trump.
In it, he wrote that 'the president would usually go 14 to 16 hours without eating' but then made up for it at dinner time, ordering 'a full McDonald’s dinner of two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, and a small chocolate shake – a total of 2,430 calories.'
