Porn Star Martini Is Officially The UK’s Favourite Cocktail

The porn star martini is officially our favourite cocktail, according to research by Absolut Vodka.

They make up one in seven cocktails now ordered in the UK, with the mojito coming in second place.

Sex on the beach, made from vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice and cranberry juice came in third place and the espresso martini was fourth.

It is the fastest-growing cocktail in the UK, gaining a 1.2% share of the market since last year.

To make the perfect porn star martini, you need 50ml vodka, 25ml passion fruit purée, 15ml part vanilla syrup, one slice pineapple, one half passion fruit pulp, one half passion fruit and a shot of bubbles, such as prosecco.

First, muddle the pineapple in a cocktail shaker, then add the vanilla vodka, passion fruit pulp and passion fruit puree.

Shake well before straining into a chilled glass and garnish with passion fruit.

Service with a shot of bubbles in a shot glass alongside.

And for those of us who are more partial to a coffee, M&S is releasing ready-made bottles of Espresso Martini.

Each 35cl bottle costs a very reasonable £10, and at 10% alcohol content, it's the ideal thing to rock up to a party with if you're feeling a tad fancy.

M&S is selling the drink at just £10 for a 350cl bottle.
