In super exciting news for M&S, Christmas and booze lovers alike, the British supermarket is relaunching its Clementine Gin Liqueur Snow Globe along with a brand new Rhubarb version just in time for the festive season.

However this time, there's an added magical extra: an actual light in the bottle's base.

Last year, shoppers were obsessed with the the festive clementine flavoured gin complete with edible 23 carat gold leaf pieces, which create a snow globe effect when the bottle is turned upside down.

Now, an LED light in its base is switched on to illuminate the bottle's woodland scene and, when shaken, it creates a flickering edible gold leaf. Just wow.

Launching in stores from 15th September, the bottles will cost £18.
It's £3 up from last year's clementine version but we think it's totally worth it considering you're getting a magical centre piece and bottle of booze all rolled into one. And what a talking point with guests!
Product Developer, Jenny Rea says: "For me, the switching on of the Christmas lights is a huge festive moment, and in honour of this Yuletide tradition we are introducing a showstopping, light-up snow globe gin liqueur, complete with edible gold leaf for that extra wow factor."

M&S recommends serving the gins on the rocks paired with its Limited Edition Gold Conte Priuli Oro Prosecco (£10), or with a tonic for a long drink.

Already, shoppers are spotting the festive drink in stores, with one commenting on Facebook Group Extreme Couponing and Bargaining: "I would just pop it up as an ornament look too good to drink! [sic]"

Someone else echoed the sentiment, saying: "Ahh aren't they beautiful."

However, going off how quickly the snow globes sold out last year, you might want to head down to your nearest supermarket ASAP or else miss out.
