If you're looking for a magical staycation for 2022, we may have found the perfect location. You can now stay in a breathtaking Harry Potter-themed lodge here on home soil.

Located in the relaxing Chess Valley in Chorleywood, the magical retreat called Hagridd's Hideaway (not Hagrid like in the films and the books) is the ideal escape for Harry Potter fanatics.

And while it's inspired by the Hogwarts ground-keeper's hut, the inside looks a lot like the Gryffindor dormitory...

Up to five people can stay in this cosy, storybook-themed hideaway and it consists of one bedroom, one bathroom, a cosy log burner, a rainfall shower and a bowl-shaped bath.

And if you were wondering about what to occupy yourself with during your stay, Hagrid's Hideaway is only a 15-minute drive away from Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studios. Nearby there's also the Roald Dahl museum, Legoland Windsor and plenty of local pubs to grab a drink after a packed day of exploring.

Available to book via Host Unusual, prices start from £200 per night. A three night weekend stay for a family of four could cost just £150 per person.

"With underground transport links to central London close by, you can experience the best of both holiday worlds - idyllic country life and the bright lights of the city," the listing reads.

"Looking for all the world as though it's been plucked straight from the film set itself - the rustic haven is fun, cheerful, and filled with whimsical delights.

"Featuring a comical roof and natural stone flooring, there are plenty of nods to the Harry Potter tales, with colourful throws, flickering lanterns, and themed wall art and accessories.

"Borrow some bikes, or test your footwear in the Chess Valley, or stay on site and indulge in an energetic game of disc golf.

"If all of that sounds a little too energetic, you could always book an in-hideaway massage and feel your cares drift away on the woodland breeze."
