This woman is literally living our dream as a full time party planner... for dogs!

Niki Sohrabkani, was a high-flying international events organiser with a six-figure salary, but she decided to quit her job to build her own company that creates lavish events for pooches instead.

Honestly, it's a business idea so great we wish we'd thought of it first!

The idea came to her two years ago after a client asked her to host a party for 20 pampered pooches. It was such a success and so much fun she decided to do it full time.

Niki is an animal lover with two labradoodles of her own, Holly and Chelsea - so she loves to see dogs spoilt.

Of course, the parties are most popular with the glamorous Knightsbridge set, as well as well-heeled customers in the likes of Los Angeles and New York City.

She now hosts all sorts of events for peoples' fur babies, from birthday pawties, to Howl-o-ween bashes and pooch pool pawties.

In the past 12 months, the 54-year old and her five-strong team have hosted 30 events, which incorporate dog-friendly refreshments and snacks, including pupcorn and pawsecco, as well as party games, from musical paws and paws the pawcel.

She often finishes things off with fancy dog dress, obstacle courses and themed decorations - it is all so Insta-worthy.

Plus, the owners get to kick back too. Whilst their little ones play, they usually enjoy champagne and canapés.

Niki, from London, said: "Having spent the last 33 years organising some of the most prestigious events around the world, I wanted to combine my passion for events and love of dogs.

"The first event I did was a private party for a client's pup and 20 friends.

"It was a roaring success, so I thought what better way to celebrate our gorgeous furry friends than by curating fun events for dogs to enjoy and socialise?

"The UK is a nation of dog lovers owners want to celebrate their furry friends' love and loyalty in style with an event - just like children's parties.

"People want really great photographs that are Instagrammable so they can share them with their friends.

She added: "Dog lovers think our pawties are fabulous, non-dog lovers think we're barking mad.

"But our clients just love our parties and their dogs have a ball!"

The furry fabulous parties start at £500 for just two hours of fun, whilst bespoke events can cost thousands - something clients often opt for.

Customers of the London Dog party Company have chosen everything from a Great Gatsby to Harry Potter themes to make their events unique.

She's right, it does sound barking mad, but we *so* wish we had her job. Dogs and parties - what's not to love?
