Most people have had a few pimples in their life and they can be quite frustrating.

Thankfully, TikTok users are sharing the bargain remedy for those who are prone to breakouts.

The La Roche Posay Cicaplast B5 multi-purpose repairing balm has proven to be a popular option among beauty and skincare lovers on social media.

The cream was sold out due to its popularity, however, Boots have now restocked it – and it costs less than a tenner.

TikToker Ana, who goes by @anavillanna, had the utmost praise for the product.

She notes that the cream contains a plant-based ingredient called madecassoside, which is derived from the leaves of the plant Centella Asiatica and has been praised for use with sensitive skin.

Described as being a product that ‘protects the whole family’s sensitive or irritated skin,’ the Cicaplast Balm B5 Multi-Purpose Repairing Balm is suitable for adults, children and babies, according to the product description.

The La Roche Posay Cicaplast Balm is available at Boots.

The cream can be used on all kinds of every day skin irritations and minor injuries – such as scrapes, grazes, insect bites and nappy rash - and is recommended for people with sensitive skin.

People who experience dry skin flare-ups, dry or rough patches or chapped and cracked skin should consider the product.

The La Roche-Posay product should be applied daily to pre-washed and dried skin.

Customers on the Boots website absolutely love it, especially those who report having sensitive skin. The product has over 200 five-star reviews on the website

One satisfied customer said: “Calmed my sensitive skin completely, feels amazing. Love this product, it’s part of my daily routine now.”

Another happy customer wrote: “I love it! I have very sensitive skin (eczema). It helped me and gave my skin a very healthy look. I use it every night on my face, neck and hands.”

A third glowing review said: “This formula is truly amazing for redness, itching, irritation and everything that comes with sensitive skin.”

On their second day of using the product, one customer said their skin ‘has healed massively’ and took to the website to encourage others to try it.

They said: “I am only on day two using this product as it has worked wonders already,” they wrote. “It feels so gentle on my face and easy to apply. So far I’ve only used in the evenings, and my face is so soft in the morning. I only use a blueberry amount and it goes a long way.

“I apply it in my night time skin routine, after my moisturiser and my skin already has got so much better as I was worried about my skin barrier becoming damage as I’ve got acne prone and combination skin.

“All in all, my skin has healed massively. I recommend this to anybody that is struggling and searching for a product to help rejuvenate their skin. You won’t be disappointed."
