Pamela Anderson breaks major personal rule with rare Milan Fashion Week appearance
Pamela Anderson has just broken one of her biggest beauty rules - and by the sounds of things, fans weren't expecting it.
The Baywatch star made a glamorous appearance at Vogue World: Milano during Milan Fashion Week on Tuesday (22 September), stepping out with an aesthetic we haven't seen for a long time.
After all, we've become pretty accustomed to seeing Anderson bare-faced at some of the world's biggest fashion and entertainment events, her latest look came as quite the surprise.
The 59-year-old first made headlines for ditching makeup at Paris Fashion Week in 2023, when she appeared at the Isabel Marant show by rocking up with a completely fresh face.

Since then, she's continued to embrace her natural appearance on red carpets, at the Met Gala and even on the cover of PEOPLE.
Explaining her decision to go makeup-free, Anderson previously recalled, 'she was the best', referring to her late makeup artist and close friend Alexis Vogel, who died from breast cancer in 2019.
"And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup."
Anderson has also spoken about how freeing the change felt, claiming last year: "I don't have to be cool anymore. I can just be me. It's very freeing to be comfortable in your own skin."
A completely bare face became something of a Anderson signature, which could be why some fans seemed so defensive when she opted to switch things up this week, going full glam for her event in Milan.
For Vogue World: Milano, Anderson appeared in a dazzling gold lamé Ferragamo maxi dress, accessorising with a chunky chain necklace, bangle and cocktail ring.
As we say, however, some social media weren't so sure about the look.
One person on X who wasn't exactly loving the transformation hit out: "The make up looks scary. I thought she was in the no make up make up phase."
Thankfully, however, a number of fans rushed to the star's defence, with one Reddit user writing: "I respect her choice to not wear makeup, but omgggggggg she looks so amazing with it."
Another declared: "I have always loved her but this current Pammie era is unmatched."
Someone else praised her features, adding: "I’m all for her embracing her face and feeling comfortable in said skin but she truly has such a perfect face for a full face of make up ! Beautiful eyes and all !"
And, perhaps summing up the entire moment most perfectly, another fan simply penned: "Omg eye makeup! We're coming back!"
Anderson herself has previously suggested that she's open to playing around with makeup again.
In her PEOPLE interview last year, she explained that she found it difficult to find a middle ground between wearing absolutely nothing and going all-out, saying she would likely experiment with makeup for a future acting role.
"I will probably do a little bit of makeup for my next role, but we'll experiment with that, because I find it's hard to find a middle ground," she confessed.
The mother-of-two added that she doesn't want to simply follow whatever beauty trend happens to be popular, explaining: "I want to be a trend-setter. I wouldn't want to be a trend follower."
