As Sweet Magnolias fans binge the hotly anticipated second season, some viewers have a very intriguing theory about the fates of two key characters.
The love triangle between Annie (Anneliese Judge), Tyler (Carson Rowland) and Jackson (Sam Ashby) became extremely complicated in season 2. Fans will remember when Annie drunkenly confessed her feelings to Tyler in season 1 but he rejected her and started dating CeCe (Harlan Drum).
After Annie and Tyler survive a life altering car crash in which baseball player Tyler fractures his arm, things take an even stranger turn. Annie begins spending more time with Jackson and Tyler and Cece grow apart.

Meanwhile, Annie and Jackson start dating after he confesses his love to her once Bible camp is over.
But fans of the Sweet Magnolias book series have a very good reason to believe this relationship won't last.
The Netflix series is based on the books by Sherryl Woods and the viewers who have read all 11 novels are convinced Annie and Tyler are meant to be.

One viewer tweeted: "They’re endgame in the books so I have faith. & if I’m honest I think I’ll like how they get there better This way…I was Not pleased about certain book parts & I hope Netflix’s fixes that."
Another fan wrote:"I know Tyler and Annie are canon (in the books) so their pairing is inevitable but like, can they not? welp I’m not invested in them (or at least the way the show portraits them) at all #SweetMagnolias".

A third fan reacted to Annie and Tyler not getting together in season three with an urgent plea to the show's producers. "Tyannie is literally the most popular couple on the show?!" they said. "I’m so mad [you] don’t understand and since i read their book i know how much potential they have this is sick #SweetMagnolias".
Some fans acknowledged that while Annie and Tyler get together in the books, they'd totally support a slight deviation from the original text. They said: "Also those who read the book knows that Ty & Annie are the end game but really for me I wish they don't follow what happened to the book ver [sic]."
However most fanatics are hoping that Annie and Tyler, who also go by their shipping name Tyannie on social media, will become "endgame" if the show is renewed for a third season.

"We need Season 3! Why? Because this show melts my heart. Because my soul needs it. Because we need to collect our Tyannie endgame! #SweetMagnolias," said one fan.
Another fan tweeted: "Team Ty & Annie all the way! Season 3 better give it to us! #SweetMagnolias".

And judging by the books, Tyannie shippers may get exactly the outcome they want. Annie and Tyler do end up together. They start a romantic relationship which is the focus of the book Home in Carolina. Their relationship lasts into adulthood, and Tyler becomes a professional baseball player.
However their coupling is tumultuous to say the least. It's revealed that Tyler cheated on Annie with lots of groupies and even got one pregnant which leads to a nasty custody battle.
