The BBC crime drama dropped earlier this week, and fans have been praising its gripping plot and brilliant acting - with some binging all four episodes in the space of a day.
You can watch the trailer below:
The series stars Samuel (who viewers might recognise from Angela Black) as Hero, a man who finds himself accused of the murder of a young boy.
While Hero is adamant of his innocence, the evidence against him is overwhelming, including blood under his fingernails, and firearms residue on his skin.
Hero is determined to defend himself by dismissing his counsel as he presents his version of events to the court, arguing that the murder is linked to a woman named Kyra (played by Sophie Wilde) who Hero fell in love with and later went missing.
Viewers have been hooked to the series, with many binge watching the episodes in one go, and others calling 'absolutely gripping'.
Others are calling for Samuel to win a BAFTA for his performance, with one writing: "Last night we started watching #YouDontKnowMe and binged the whole series - Fantastic, amazing writing, directing, pace, acting - this should get Samuel Adewunmi a #BAFTA (Watch it, everyone)."
While another said: "Love love loving the adaptation of #YouDontKnowMe @BBCOne but the biggest shout out has to go to the fantastic Samuel Adewunmi for his portrayal of Hero. What a performance. I feel like I’m right there with him in the courtroom. Surely there’s a BAFTA on its way?"
And a third added: "Sam deserves all the awards #YouDontKnowMe."
While a fourth said: "Give Samuel Adewunmi all of the goddamn awards. Fu**ing hell. What a performance."
