Married At First Sight UK Fans Spot Another Red Flag With Contestant Franky

Married At First Sight UK Fans Spot Another Red Flag With Contestant Franky

It was an uncomfortable chat with the experts for Franky and Marilyse.

Thursday evening's episode of Married at First Sight UK was nothing short of explosive, as the couples sat down with experts for the very first commitment ceremony of the series.

There was laughter, plenty of tears and according to some viewers, a number of red flags. Fans of the show are particularly concerned about Marilyse, after describing Franky's behaviour in the episode as the 'embodiment of a red flag'.

You can watch a clip of the chat below:

As they sat down to chat, the experts quickly honed in on one of the couple's biggest challenges - the fact that Franky currently lives in Dubai, while Marilyse is from a small town in West Yorkshire.

Speaking about the fact that he may have to move back to the UK, Franky said: "It's not a distance thing, it's a giving up what I have built as a freelance guy, and I've built a lot in Dubai.

"But I'm a guy with big balls, and if I have to start that business all over again in not a cool place. And that's no disrespect to her small town."

The rest of the couples - and viewers at home - were pretty shocked by the comment. One person said: "Frankie calling Beverley a 'boring little town'!?! This man is clueless. Get rid Marylise, nobody needs that misguided negativity in their life. Best town in the world."

While another added: "The way he spoke about where she lives! Red flags all over the place run Marylise run."

And a third wrote: "With everything that happened tonight Franky’s scary behaviour seems to have sailed under the radar."

Despite this, the couple maintained that everything had been 'a dream' since they first tied the knot, explaining they hadn't even had a single bicker.
