The Wanted singer decided to take things to the next level with the EastEnders star after a jam-packed evening out full of some very indulgent dishes.

Max took to TikTok to share footage from the date night and the precise moment he finally put a 'ring' on Maisie's finger.

In the video, the pair tucked in to some mouth-watering scran at Manchester’s Frankie & Benny’s restaurant.

The couple have just returned from a romantic getaway in Turkey and visited the Italian-American-themed eatery to taste some of the iconic menu items from the 2000s which fans have been requesting make a triumphant return for yonks now.

In the TikTok, Max gave his 152.4k followers a rundown of all the food he and Maisie scoffed on their date night.

From a proper gooey cheese bake and a hefty platter of chicken strips to some extremely loaded potato skins - it's clear the pair were going all out with the new menu.

I mean, it is technically a ring.

"I mean just look at it. It was absolutely banging," Max confirmed in the TikTok's voiceover.

Half-way through the meal, Max decided to 'pop the big question' and 'pulled out the big guns' with a little help from one of the dishes the happy couple were grazing on.

Max can be seen taking an onion ring from the platter of fried grub and placing it on Maisie's ring finger before the duo continued their date washing the whole thing down with a 'cheeky' cocktail.

Well, it's definitely not your average 'proposal' - that's for sure.

"Now that's what I call the perfect date," the 'Glad You Came' hit-maker concluded.

And this isn't the first parody proposal between the pair as Max recently jokingly proposed to Maisie while on The Chase.

The couple were taking part in the gameshow together but host Bradley Walsh wasn't aware they were in a relationship.

He asked: "So you've known each other before this, then?"

Max replied: "Yeah, we know each other a little bit..."

"I didn't know, I'm so sorry! So when's the big day?" Bradley continued.

The singer then proceeded to reach into his pocked before saying: "Funny you mention it..."

He then pulled out nothing but air and laughed over how the gag left Maisie fanning herself after becoming 'hot and sweaty'.
