Billie Eilish was given the full 2010s Belieber treatment after Justin Bieber brought back his classic 'One Less Lonely Girl' moment at Coachella.
The 24-year-old singer ended up on stage during Justin’s second weekend headline set on Saturday (18 April), with the Canadian star choosing her for the throwback segment of his performance.
Anyone who grew up during Justin’s 'Baby' era will know exactly how big a deal that is. Back in the day, the hitmaker would invite one fan on stage, sit her down, sing to her, and make her his 'lonely girl' for the song.
Only this time, the person sitting there was Billie Eilish, who has famously been a huge fan of the 32-year-old since she was younger.

After the surreal moment unfolded in front of the Coachella crowd, Billie made it very clear on social media just how much it had affected her.

Posting to her Instagram Story afterwards, the 'What Was I Made For?' singer shared a close-up selfie showing her with tearful eyes, writing: “Can't stop crying.”
The emotional update came after footage from the festival showed Billie watching from the VIP area with Justin’s wife, Hailey Bieber.
As the opening of 'One Less Lonely Girl' began, Hailey appeared to encourage Billie towards the stage, with the singer then making her way over to Justin while laughing, covering her face, and looking completely overwhelmed.
She sat on a stool as Justin sang the 2009 track to her, before he hugged her from behind during the performance.

Billie then returned to Hailey and her family in tears, with the whole thing quickly becoming one of the most wholesome viral moments from the festival.
The moment was especially full circle because Billie first met Justin at Coachella back in 2019, when she was 17. Her mum, Maggie Baird, later shared the video and photos in her own emotional Instagram post about watching it happen from the crowd alongside Billie’s brother, Finneas.
Maggie wrote: “One of the most touching moments ever. It sounds crazy, but we watch our children develop these deep deep connections to artists who move them and usually there's nothing in our power to do. But we buy them records and maybe buy them a ticket to a concert (or a movie of a concert in our case because we couldn't afford to see an actual concert).

“Watching this crazy unimaginable dream come true over many years is so incredible. I'm so grateful to Justin Bieber for the kindness he has shown Billie and to our whole family and to Hailey who makes so many things wonderful and possible.”
In separate comments, Hailey herself later: “So special…love you guys!”
Maggie also shared clips of Billie crying in the crowd, as well as a sweet photo of herself and Finneas hugging her after she came off stage.

Billie has long been a fan of Justin, with a clip of her - reportedly aged 12 - talking about her 'love' for him recently resurfacing.
“So many Justin Bieber things. I was like crying so hard because I’ve got worried that when I get a boyfriend, I won’t want to be with him because I actually love Justin Bieber more. And I can’t handle that,” she said.
The pair met for the first time during Ariana Grande's performance at Coachella 2019 and a video of the heartwarming moment quickly went viral. From there, they collaborated on a remix of Billie's iconic hit 'bad guy' and went on to build a friendship.
In 2020, Billie shared a pic of herself as a teen, wearing a ‘Justin Bieber’ top. She also posted some snaps of her bedroom, with the walls covered in posters of the ‘Baby’ singer and a sign on her door that said: “Forever Belieber, Billie’s room.”
Appearing in Justin’s YouTube Seasons docuseries that same year, Billie admitted: “I care about him more than anybody in my life.”
