B&M Is Selling Water Fountains For Dogs They Can Use On Their Own
B&M Bargains is selling an outside water fountain for dogs which they can operate by themselves.
As summer gets closer, we're always looking for ways to ensure that our pets stay hydrated while playing in the sun.
And this water fountain from the discount store will be the perfect way for them to keep cool when sunshine and blue skies arrive.
Priced at £6.99 a pop, the fountains simply connect up to a garden hose, and when the tap is on, fresh water is supplied at the push of a paw on the non-slip pad.
A jet will then shoot out water for your beloved pooch to lap up, ensuring they get plenty of water in hot weather.
"Give your dog some fresh water to drink with this Pet Water Fountain," explains the product description. "Ideal for use in the hot summer months to cool your dog down."
It adds: "Simply connect to a garden hose using the included universal connection ensuring water supply is switched on. Once activated, water will be available at the push of a paw."
B&M Bargains' dog water fountains are in-stores nationwide now.
It looks like they will be in high demand though, as the concept is going down a storm with shoppers on Facebook group Money Saver Online, where the product was first spotted.
However, some users have shared doubts that their dogs would be able to successfully use the fountain.
"Dont think my dogs would work it out [sic]!" exclaimed one, while another joked: "Looks good but my grandchildren will play with it more than dog."
You would be probably have to train your dog by rewarding them with a treat in order to show them how to activate the fountain, although imagery for the product shows one pup using it without a problem.
"Lilly loves hers. Need to get better pressure on it though!" added a happy customer alongside a video of her dog successfully using the fountain.
"It's amazing, 100% recommend," one person reviewed, adding another video of her dogs successfully using the fountain. "Kept them entertained in the warm weather."
Now, we just need some actual sunshine...
