First lady Melania Trump celebrated the Fourth of July last week with her husband President Donald Trump on the balcony at the White House - and one detail about the couple’s joint appearance caught the attention of viewers.
It came as Trump celebrated Independence Day by signing his sweeping ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ into law, which involves a package of tax and spending cuts.
He and his wife were then seen embracing on the White House balcony and even did the ‘Trump Dance’ together.
The pair put on a loving display as the POTUS kissed and hugged his wife as they smiled at their supporters down below.

However, there was also a number of people who believed Melania was just ‘taking one from the team’ and managed to avoid kissing her husband back.

“Wouldn’t sharing a kiss entail both to participate?” one viewer quipped.
“Look at her hands pushing him away,” another TikTok comment quipped.

“She’s taking one for team… not sure what team… but, the team,” a third person added.
A final user said: "She instinctively pushes back against him, her body tensing as she tries to create distance. Her eyes dart away, deliberately avoiding his mouth, a subtle but clear signal of her discomfort."
Others supported the pair, however, with one writing: "The most presidential couple in our nation's history."

Another said: "She’s so happy and blessed and she knows it. The most beautiful First Lady of America."
Tyla has contacted a representative for Melania Trump for a comment.
This isn't the first time the president has gone in for a kiss, only for people to be convinced Melania rebuffed him.
When he won the presidential election last year and went in for a celebratory smooch, Melania offered her cheek rather than her lips.

Then when he tried for another peck at his inauguration, Melania's massive hat made this all but impossible.
The most enduring theory about Melania Trump, of course, is that she's frequently swapped out for a body double on official occasions.

Her large hats and sunglasses led to body double speculation during her November appearance alongside Trump at West Palm Beach, and at the president's inauguration back in January, the late Pope Francis' funeral in April, and her theatre outing alongside her husband last month.
Melania was pictured with Trump rocking a massive pair of sunglasses as the two went to a live performance of Les Misérables at the Kennedy Center in Washington.
After a snap of the couple went viral online, one conspiracy theorist concluded: "Sunglasses, that's fake Melania."

Another agreed: "Cool to see fake Melania is out and about," as a third asked: "Why is Fake Melania wearing sunglasses at night again?"
Although the FLOTUS has never herself commented on the odd body double theory, Trump did hit back at comments that his wife had been replaced by a professional actor in 2019.
"The Fake News photoshopped pictures of Melania, then propelled conspiracy theories that it's actually not her by my side in Alabama and other places," he tweeted. "They are only getting more deranged with time!"
