Radio Station Playing Nothing But Christmas Music Is Back

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

It's time to blow the dust off your Michael Bublé album, because the countdown to Christmas is officially on!

A radio station playing nothing but festive tunes is back for 2021, so listeners can brighten up their day with seasonal songs while waiting for the big day.

Heart Xmas is available in most places around the UK and online, so tune in when you can!

This year, the station has launched 10 days earlier than usual.

As the days grow chillier and the nights longer, the decision-makers at Heart clearly thought we were in need of a winter cheer-up!

Festivities will continue until 27th December - which gives you a whole two extra days to celebrate.

Songs vary from slow, nostalgic classics to upbeat office party bangers. Fans of Greg Lake and Mariah Carey alike can unite and sing along.

The station is currently broadcast on DAB throughout the country, in counties such as Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, as well as London.

Everyone else can listen online or through Google Home.

Radio fans are delighted to hear the station has returned, with many taking to Twitter in order to get into the Christmas spirit.

"I found Heart Xmas the other day on the radio and it's cheered me right up whenever I get in the car and hear it", one woman enthused.

"I'm all over the Christmas songs already", another person said. "Radio firmly tuned to Heart Xmas".

Another poster simply said, "#sorrynotsorry".

In other Christmas news, a woman from Dorset was shocked when she ordered a TikTok Christmas tree online.

The 49-year-old grandma received a 'twig' from a fir tree instead of the six-foot self-growing ornament she thought she'd ordered.
