You may recognise him from Game of Thrones or as the titular superhero from Aquaman but did you know that Jason Momoa used to be a lifeguard?
Well, a TV lifeguard to be exact - and now people have discovered he was a main character on Baywatch and let's just say the responses are thirsty.
Jason made hearts flutter as lifeguard Jason Loane in Baywatch Hawaii between 1999 and 2001. A picture of Jason as his clean-shaven, short-haired Baywatch character was posted on the E! News Instagram page alongside a picture of Jason from the 2018 film Aquaman.

One Instagram user said: "I'm watching the last season of Baywatch right now. He was so young but still so cute!!!"
Another commenter said: "He was fine then and he fine now".
"An absolute example of perfect beauty," shared a third.
A fourth referenced Jason transforming from a heartthrob to an actual superhero: "Yummy snack to a full on SURF AND TURF MEAL".

"I'll take either," another woman added.
Referencing his transformation, another Instagram account said: "Damn so my man just been handsome all his life? Can't relate".
Jason was only 19-years-old when he went from working in a surf shop before being cast as Jason in Baywatch in 1999. He appeared in seasons 10 and 11, the final two seasons for the long-running beach-set action drama.
Baywatch's Jason was born in Hawaii, but his mother moved to Texas where he was raised. He travelled back to Hawaii to be join the team led by Mitch (David Hasselhoff).

After his stint as a TV lifeguard, Jason eventually went on to join the cast of HBO's behemoth drama Game of Thrones as Khal Drogo, who looks worlds apart from his Baywatch character.
Outside of TV, Jason has played Aquaman since the 2016 when he first appeared in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and in the following DCEU films Justice League and Aquaman with Amber Heard.
Is there a look Jason Momoa can't pull off?!
